Movers and Packers in Dubai Marina

E House Movers UAE moves apartments across Dubai Marina — studios and one-bedrooms through to large family flats and penthouses.

A Marina move is rarely about carrying boxes. Cargo-lift bookings, building approval, basement clearance and restricted loading points are what decide the length of the day. Tell us your tower, apartment size and date, and we will plan around them before the truck is assigned.

Why choose eHouse Movers in Dubai Marina?

Each relocation is planned around the apartment inventory, the tower it sits in, and the moving window you were actually given.

High-rise experience

Studios, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments and penthouses in residential towers, where the lift matters more than the floor plan.

Tower access reviewed first

Service lifts, loading points, parking access and building requirements are confirmed before the crew is dispatched.

Packing by material

Furniture, crockery, electronics, clothing and fragile pieces are packed for what they are, not put through one method.

Furniture prepared, not forced

Beds, wardrobes, tables and shelving are dismantled where they cannot pass safely, and rebuilt at the other end.

A written scope

The moving scope, packing work, furniture handling and anything extra are set out before you book.

Apartment moving services in the Marina

Apartment relocation is the core of the service here. Each item below can be booked on its own or as part of the move.

  • Full apartment moves

Packing, furniture preparation, loading, transport, unloading and placement room by room — planned on actual volume, not bedroom count.

  • Full or partial packing

The whole flat, or just the kitchen, the wardrobes or the fragile things. Cartons are labelled by room so unloading is not a guessing game.

  • Furniture dismantling

Sofas, beds, wardrobes, dining tables and cabinets. Anything that will not pass the door, corridor or cargo lift is taken down first.

  • Fragile and valuable items

Televisions, mirrors, glass furniture, artwork and crockery are packed separately from the heavy household load.

  • Same-tower moves

Between floors or units in one building. No road transport, but building approval and lift access are still required.

  • Short-term storage

For when the new apartment is not ready or the move-out and move-in dates do not meet.

The lift booking is the moving day

Most Marina towers require a dedicated service or cargo-lift reservation before a move can start. The resident or an authorised representative makes that booking with building management; we supply whatever crew and vehicle details the form asks for.

Approval and lift booking are not always the same thing. Some buildings treat permission to move and reservation of the lift as two separate steps, and being told "you are approved" does not mean a lift slot exists. Confirm both, or the crew waits at security while the clock runs.

Booking rules vary by tower, and weekend slots go first. As soon as you have a date, ask what the process is — that single call is worth more than anything else you can do to keep the day short.

How a Marina move runs

Four stages, and the tower check belongs in the first one rather than on the morning.

  1. Survey and tower check

Apartment size, furniture, packed boxes, fragile items, destination and building access. Smaller moves can be assessed from photographs or a video call.

  2. Packing and preparation

Agreed items are packed and labelled. Furniture and fragile belongings are prepared separately by size, surface and handling need.

  3. Lift, loading, transport

The crew works the approved service route and moves everything inside the confirmed lift window. The vehicle is chosen for the inventory and the loading access available.

  4. Delivery and setup

Boxes are placed in their assigned rooms and agreed furniture is reassembled before the crew leaves.

What makes the Marina different

It is a high-rise community, so access usually matters more than volume.

  • Basement clearance

Not every tower basement takes a moving truck. Some access points are restricted around 2.1 metres, others differ. Confirm the real clearance — if the truck cannot enter, an approved external loading point is needed.

  • Marina Walk addresses

Buildings near the promenade can have pedestrian areas and restricted vehicle routes between the entrance and the nearest loading position. That walk is labour, and it is priced at survey.

  • The floor is not the whole story

Long corridors to the service lift, repeated lift trips and a distant loading bay all add time. We review the complete route rather than reading the job off the apartment size.

  • Common-area protection

Some managed towers require floors, lift walls or doorways to be covered during a move. Where that applies, it needs confirming before the date so the material is on the truck.

What the quotation covers

The first group is standard. The second is in only when it is written down.

ItemWhere it stands
Crew and vehicleIncluded, sized against the inventory and the loading access at both ends.
Loading, transport, unloadingIncluded, with basic furniture handling.
Packing materialsIncluded where listed — cartons, paper, bubble wrap, stretch film, tape, furniture covers.
Full packing and unpackingQuoted separately. Partial packing usually gives the better return.
Complex dismantlingWall units, oversized wardrobes and built-in pieces are priced once seen.
Specialist itemsPianos, safes, large artwork and aquariums are handled as a separate line.
StorageQuoted by volume and period, with redelivery agreed up front.

Long carrying distances, waiting caused by an unconfirmed lift, and belongings added after the survey are what change a final figure.

Moving costs in Dubai

What a Marina apartment move usually costs

One-bedroom apartment600 درهم إماراتي – 900Four to six hours where packing and lift access are organised
Two-bedroom apartment900 درهم إماراتي – 1,400Most of a working day
Three-bedroom apartment1,400 درهم إماراتي – 2,200Full day, larger crew
Penthouse or four-bedroomيتم تحديد السعر بعد المعاينةPriced on inventory, lift windows and carrying distance

Planning ranges rather than a fixed tariff. Volume, packing, furniture, cargo-lift access, carrying distance and destination all move the number.

Towers we work in

Access rules, moving hours and service-lift procedures are checked per building — no two Marina towers run the same system.

  • Princess Tower
  • Marina Gate
  • Cayan Tower
  • The Torch
  • Sulafa Tower
  • Marina 101
  • Elite Residence
  • Marina Crown
  • And the rest of the Marina — ask about yours

Next door we also cover Jumeirah Beach Residence, Jumeirah Lake Towers, Bluewaters Island, Emaar Beachfront, Palm Jumeirah and The Greens. JBR sits beside the Marina but runs its own building procedures.

All areas we cover

Before moving day

Five things worth settling in the week before.

  • Confirm building approval and the cargo-lift slot — they can be two separate requests
  • Keep passports, jewellery, cash, medicines and documents with you, not on the truck
  • Tell us about oversized furniture, artwork or anything that needs special handling
  • Clear out what you are not taking — it is cheaper to donate than to move
  • Check the basement height if you want the truck inside the building

Dubai Marina moving questions

Do Marina towers require a moving permit?

Many managed towers require advance approval before movers can use service areas. The exact process depends on the building.

Is a moving permit the same as a service-lift booking?

Not always. Several buildings treat approval and lift reservation as separate steps, so confirm both.

Who books the cargo lift?

The resident or an authorised representative, following the process building management sets. We provide company, crew and vehicle details where they are needed.

How early should I book the service lift?

As soon as your date is fixed. Requirements vary by tower and weekend slots go first.

Can your truck enter the basement?

It depends on the building clearance and the vehicle. Share your tower before the move so the access route can be reviewed.

Can you move from apartments near Marina Walk?

Yes. We plan around the nearest approved loading point and any pedestrian or restricted-access areas.

Does a high floor cost more?

It can. Lift access, carrying distance and the route between the apartment and loading point all add labour time.

Can you move furniture within the same tower?

Yes — room to room, floor to floor and apartment to apartment, once building access is reviewed.

Are weekend moves available?

Yes, subject to crew availability and the moving hours your tower permits.

Do you also cover JBR?

Yes, though JBR building and access procedures should be checked separately from the Marina.

How far ahead should I book?

Three to seven days is a reasonable start. Towers with advance approval or limited lift availability need longer.
