Home Moving Services in Dubai

A home move goes wrong in the gaps — between the packing and the truck, between the truck and the building, between the building and the room the sofa is meant to end up in.

We run those as one job: survey the property, put the scope in writing, then pack, load, transport, reassemble and place. Apartments, houses and villas, with the crew and the vehicle decided before the morning rather than on it.

Why choose eHouse Movers for a home move?

What the company brings, stated plainly.

A licensed Dubai moving company

Residential relocations run by a licensed operator, with more than seventeen years in the trade and over two and a half thousand completed moves behind the crews.

The survey comes before the price

The property, the volume, the access and anything needing special handling are assessed first. A bedroom count is not a quotation.

Written scope, so the invoice matches

Crew, vehicle, packing materials and every optional extra named before booking. Nothing appears on the day that was not on the paper.

Trained crews, not casual labour

The same teams pack, lift, load and reassemble, which is why the furniture that comes apart goes back together.

A fleet sized to the job

Over thirty-five vehicles, GPS-tracked, so a studio is not paying for a villa truck and a villa is not doing three trips.

Building procedures handled

Where a tower or a community needs permits, lift bookings or approved hours, that is prepared before the date is held.

What a home move includes

One coordinated service rather than four suppliers who have never met.

  • Apartment moves

Lifts, loading bays, parking and permitted hours decide the day before the inventory does. The detail is on the apartment movers page.

  • Villa and house moves

More rooms, more furniture, and a garage and garden that hold more than anyone expects. See villa movers.

  • Packing and unpacking

The whole house or only what needs professional handling, with unpacking at the other end if you want it. See packing services.

  • Furniture work

Beds, wardrobes, dining tables and cabinets dismantled where the route requires it, and reassembled after delivery. Also on furniture movers.

  • Fragile and valuable items

Mirrors, glass, televisions and artwork identified at the survey so the protection is planned rather than improvised.

  • Storage between homes

When the lease ends before the next handover, belongings can be packed, stored and delivered when the new property is ready.

Not sure which of these you need? Send the two addresses on the quote form and we will tell you.

What a move costs

How a home move runs

Five stages. The first one is free and it is the one that decides the other four.

  1. Pre-move survey

A coordinator looks at the property, the volume, the furniture, the access at both ends and anything needing special handling — so the move is planned against the actual job.

  2. Written quotation

Scope, crew, vehicle, packing and cost, in writing. Knowing what is included before booking is what stops the surprises.

  3. Packing and preparation

Belongings packed by what they are, furniture wrapped, cartons labelled by destination room, fragile pieces given the protection they need.

  4. Loading and transport

Loaded in the order the new home will be filled, then moved in a GPS-tracked vehicle sized to the load rather than to a package name.

  5. Unloading and setup

Cartons and furniture into the rooms they belong in, reassembly completed, and any agreed unpacking and packaging removal done before the crew leaves.

Moving out of a tower, or out of a villa?

They are different jobs and the difference is not the number of bedrooms.

An apartment move is decided by the building: the service lift booking, the loading bay, the permitted hours and the security procedure. Get those wrong and the crew waits in the car park.

A villa move is decided by volume. The bedrooms are the easy part — it is the garage, the store cupboard and the garden that hold the surprise, and they are surveyed as rooms in their own right.

Most of what goes wrong on a moving day was knowable a week earlier. That is what the survey is for.

What to confirm before moving day

Half of these belong to the building rather than to us, and they are the half that cause delays.

  • Move-out permission at the current property
  • Move-in permission at the new one
  • Service lift booked, at both ends if both are towers
  • Loading bay and parking arranged
  • Permitted moving hours for the building or community
  • Photographs of the rooms — worth more than any description
  • Anything unusual: a piano, artwork, a safe, a full garage

The building requirements that apply across the city are collected on the Dubai moving rules page.

What a home move costs

No single figure describes every move, because the price follows the work rather than the address.

What we price

  1. Property size and the actual volume of belongings
  2. Crew size and how long the job takes
  3. Packing: full, partial or none
  4. Furniture dismantling and reassembly
  5. Vehicle capacity, and whether one trip does it
  6. Distance between the two properties
  7. Lift or stair access at either end
  8. Fragile, valuable or oversized items
  9. Storage between handover dates
  10. Short-notice or weekend dates

A survey is what turns these into a number. It costs nothing and it is the difference between a quotation and a guess.

Where we move

Across Dubai, and out to the other emirates when the move goes further.

Questions about home moving

How much do home movers cost in Dubai?

It follows the property size, the volume, the packing, the distance and the access at both ends. A survey is what turns those into a written figure — a bedroom count on its own is a guess.

What does a full home moving service include?

Survey, written quote, packing, furniture wrapping and dismantling, loading, transport, unloading, reassembly and room-by-room placement, with unpacking and packaging removal if you want them.

Can I pack some things myself?

Yes, and most people do. You take the books and the clothes; the crew takes the kitchen, the mirrors, the electronics and the furniture.

Do you move apartments and villas?

Both. The crew and vehicle are set to the size of the move — see apartment movers and villa movers for what changes between them.

Do you dismantle and reassemble furniture?

Yes, where the route requires it. Anything taken apart is put back together at the destination as part of the agreed service.

What if my new home is not ready yet?

Belongings can be packed, stored and delivered when the next property is available — useful for a handover gap, a renovation, or moving in stages.

How far ahead should I book?

Far enough for the survey, the building permits and the lift bookings, which usually means a week or two. Short notice is often possible depending on availability.

Can you help with building or community permits?

The requirements belong to the building, so you confirm them with property management — but we prepare the paperwork and the timing around what they ask for.

Are the vehicles tracked?

Yes, the fleet is GPS-enabled, so where your belongings are is a question with an answer.

Do you move outside Dubai?

Yes, to all the other emirates. Both ends are surveyed separately, because they rarely share the same access, and it is quoted as one job.

Start with a survey

Send the two addresses and roughly when. We will look at the property, walk the access, and put the whole scope in writing before anything is agreed.
