Not everyone needs the whole property packed, and paying for that when you do not is the most common way this service is oversold.
Full packing is the agreed contents of the property — general belongings, furniture and fragile items. It is the right answer when time is short or the house is large.
Partial packing means you do the books and the clothes, and the crew takes the kitchen, the mirrors, the electronics and the furniture.
Fragile-only is exactly that: the twenty things you do not want to be responsible for, and nothing else.
How the packing runs
Five stages, and the first one is the reason the rest go quickly.
Assessment
What needs packing, the property size, the access, and anything that needs its own handling. For a large job that means a survey or photographs before the quotation.
Plan and materials
Cartons, wrapping and specialist materials estimated for the job. Furniture needing dismantling and high-value pieces are identified before general packing starts.
Room by room
Packed systematically rather than mixing belongings from different parts of the property, because that is what makes the other end quick.
Labelling
Destination room and contents on every carton. On larger jobs an inventory as well, so the count at the other end means something.
Handover
Prepared for transport, storage or collection. A packing-only booking stays a packing-only booking — it does not have to become a move.

Wrapped individually and cushioned so pieces cannot touch. Most breakage happens inside the box, not on the road.

Do you provide the packing materials?

Can you pack only the fragile things?
Yes, and it is a common booking — glassware, mirrors, framed work, electronics and decorative pieces, while you handle the books and clothes.
Do you dismantle and reassemble furniture?
Dismantling is arranged where the route requires it. Reassembly comes with a moving service rather than with packing alone.
Do you unpack as well?
